If some of these ever bore you, I am sorry but I am getting in the habit of doing this so that when Neal leaves he can keep up with us on things I forget to say.
That being said, we went to the Caldwell zoo today and it was Savannah's first time. Let me just say she did not want to go. She fussed here and there but maybe it will be better next time.
The boys had a blast and if I would have kept the pace they wanted we would have finished in 45 minutes. It rained when we first got there and then stayed cloudy most of the time with the sun peeking out as we were leaving.
I love their faces when they see something amazing that they haven't seen before. They get to truly see the amazing sizes of the elephants, giraffes, rhino, etc. instead of on TV.
I get a refresher of all the amazing ways God's work is on display. Not only is He amazing but He gives us such beautiful animals to enjoy. Look at all the colors. Did God have to give us bright blues and red? Absolutely not. He chose to show his amazing power and love in something as simple as a tiny hummingbird egg.
Take time to enjoy all God has given you. If for no other reason than as a reminder of His love for you. Love that wants you to be happy and enjoy time with your family and love that sends His one and only Son to die for you because Jesus "would rather die than to ever live without you..."
Right after that we walk up on a white tiger who was staring us all down with extreme power and grace.
